Education should be more than simply the pursuit of knowledge and regurgitation of facts. It should awaken passions, strengthen talents, and encourage students towards strong work ethics and noble character. It should ignite each student’s innate desire to learn and fuel their God-given purpose. If we want our youth to succeed in life and become positive members of society, then we as a community must support their educational training, teachers, and schools.
YME plans to do this by partnering with local businesses and schools to give students a well-rounded and relevant education through vocational enrichment work-study programs while also supporting and encouraging local schools and teachers. We plan to build self-sustaining school campuses that will house local businesses to provide out-of-classroom learning opportunities for youth. Our unique program is modeled after an educational system with a 150-year record of success. By offering vocational exploration, students will be encouraged to pursue their unique interests and discover their passions in a safe and encouraging environment. Through these programs with local partners, high school seniors will learn skills for life and be better prepared for college or career after graduation.
As we work to gain funding for our headquarters and first campus we are also working to support, encourage, and love on local teachers and schools in any way possible. Teachers are our champions, fighting for our children–our future–every day. And we want to reward that. That’s why we held a Teacher Appreciation event in 2016-2017–to tell our local educators that they make a difference and their community sees and appreciates them.

I. Establish Headquarters
Phase I is to purchase a campus headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This campus will serve as YME’s headquarters and home to the first of many self-sustaining non-profit schools supported/maintained by YME.
We’re currently fundraising for the first campus and others like it. We appreciate all tax-deductible donations. You can partner with YME today by calling (844) YME-KIDS, [844-963-5437] or visiting our website at ymefoundation.org/support.
II. Partner with a School
YME will partner with local schools who share our vision of impacting education and future of our youth by offering innovative programs that help discover each student’s passion. We plan to create self-sustaining campus through on-site businesses and offer students vocational enrichment through work-study programs.
Phase III is implementing self-sustainment through our work study programs. All proceeds from the on-campus industries will fund the YME Foundation, participating schools, and other youth and community outreaches that support our mission and commitment to the education and development of youth.
Local businesses and organizations will partner with schools to offer opportunities for students to safely explore various vocations and discover their passions. When students reach employment age, and after an allotted amount of time in the work-study program gaining practical skills, they will be placed in internships and entry-level jobs with local businesses according to their interests. This program not only benefits the students by giving them a chance to learn new skills and gain work experience, but businesses are able employ a more skilled entry-level workforce.

We are always looking to partner with businesses who support our mission. Call (844) YME-KIDS, [844-963-5437] or CLICK HERE to partner with YME today.
YME’s immediate plans include offering support to educators through charitable donations and recognition like the “Thank a Teacher” Oklahoma Thunder night out and the car giveaway to one well-rounded teen. After we establish YME’s headquarters and first campus, we will build our work-study program by partnering with the local businesses, like Luxury Limos of Tulsa, to give young people training and confidence in their new skills. As we work through implementing Phase I, II, and III of our plan, we will establish a framework to encourage educators, bring value to local businesses, and most importantly equip students for their future.
After YME establishes the first school in Tulsa, we plan to expand to neighboring cities such as Oklahoma City, Wichita KS, Little Rock, AR, etc.
We are always looking towards the future and to grow with the times. We plan on establishing unique on-campus industries such as an auto mechanic body shop, unique coffee shops, child care center, therapy dog program, greenhouses, media services, health and wellness related businesses, and dog therapy programs. You can find out more about these future programs on the NETWORK page. If you know of a business that would add value to the foundation, please call (844) YME-KIDS, [844-963-5437] or CLICK HERE to partner with YME today.
